Today was the Westminster MS Walk. I have an old friend, Cecilia, whose sister has the disease. I am a member of Megan's Marchers. There are members walking in Towson, Westminster, Ocean City, Annapolis and Richmond. This is the second year I have walked with the team. It is only 5k in Westminster--that's about all this old lady can do. The weather held out this year, last year it poured. WPOC, a Baltimore country radio station emceed the event. Local businesses provided drinks and food. Turkey Hill even brought their cow. High school cheerleaders routed us on. It was a very uplifting event. Thanks to all who participated or supported.
