It is acutally an ashtray. No one smokes in my house, so it will have to stay guarding the plants.

I wonder if this scary thing ever helped anyone stop smoking?

That's pretty cool!! Bring it to work- that's one way to get the boss to stop smoking! you know how much she LOVES flying insects.

My parents used to have one of those ash trays. I'll have to ask them what happened to it.
It is interesting. My daughter was at Goodwill trying to find clothes for a costumed dance. It was in the housewares, on sale even, I never was able to resist a sale!
The best stuff always comes from the thrift stores.
